Saybrook Breakwater Lighthouse

Saybrook Breakwater Lighthouse, also known as Saybrook Outer Lighthouse, sits at the end of the 2,750 east breakwater marking the entrance to the Connecticut River. The lighthouse was completed in 1886 and automated in 1959. In 1988 the original Fresnel lens was removed and replaced with a modern 300mm optic with a 1,000 watt bulb.
